I remember a while back there were worries about getting hold of the exhaust mounts for the Orb. Did you ever go to Renault with the part numbers on the Cup racer parts list to check the availability?
There's a couple here that I found just searching the web.
First one is for works related to the F4R engine.
Second one has some various chapters from the full manual.

Over the years the site has almost run itself, in my opinion that's due to the maturity of the users that come on here.
Since the new forum upgrade the moderators do not have as much access or abilities. I'm pretty much limited to editing posts/threads now. I can view users settings but the...
You can link to a users garage section fairly easily, although it's not a direct link. If you click on a users name, click view profile, click about me and then click on the house shaped button you end up on the garage section.
here's mine for example...
That's what mine did before I changed mine. It started off like that but it soon got worse.
As hoolio suggests, if the coolant has been changed recently it could have some air flowing through. Try bleeding the system first.
Its common for the cam/ rocker cover to leak a small amount, usually it's so small that the leaking oil doesn't fall as far as the bottom of the engine and barely affects the oil level. My best advice is to remove the under-tray, clean off any excess oil and then check again after a few miles to...
I've contacted Nik about it, all I can do is leave it with him. Individuals could contact him if they would like to give it a go. As a moderator I can't do anything about stopping the Spam coming through, I can only delete it once it's here. In terms of getting rid of it another moderator with...
As Marc says, if you click that button whenever you see spam it generates an alert to the moderators so it will be dealt with sooner. You can put a message with it if you like, just writing spam will suffice.
There's been 3 spam threads today, it's rather annoying, 2 were reported and I deleted...
I'm happy to stay on but if there are others who would really like to do it then I will stand down. I have time to be on here more frequently now. There's only me and Tim as moderators on here, I can comment on whether he wants to continue the role but another moderator would be helpful to the...
I have contacted Nik, I'm sure you will hear from him soon enough. No doubt the forum needs a fresh set of moderators and I'm sure those who are willing will be given the opportunity and will take on the role productively.
Thanks Marc for your concern :D. I can't comment on your relationship with acid but I can see your ability to tell the time is spot on.
We're short of moderators on the site now, fancy it?
There was some confusion with the register a while back regarding Trophy plaque numbers. It was to do with the seats from a written off Trophy being fitted. Surely Renault must have made a record against the VIN number of each car otherwise there is no control or proof of what number it is.

Arcan 3 Tonne Axel Stands. (£50)
Arcan 1.8 Ton Jack. (£140)
I can't believe I've done without that jack for so long, it's brilliant! I've been managing with a Halfords 2 ton jack for a few years, it felt good throwing that piece of crap out and I'll never look back...
Dave,
For the legs I used 4" x 4". Every other piece was cut from 8 lengths of 8" x 2" which I made into 7" x 2" using a saw bench. So the top and sides are all 2" thick. The reason I made them into 7" was because the wood had been slightly rounded at the edges, so when I joined the 4 pieces...
It's just missing electricity. The owner of a rather large piece of land next to mine is in the process of building a house on it, he's just had electricity installed taken from the nearest supply, the lines have had to be run quite far and a transformer has been installed, it cost him over...
Aye, the building kit was £8k, that was a while back and I did a lot of phoning around and bartering. There's no way I'd get the same price now with the cost of wood and steel etc rising.
The concrete floor was £2.8k and the foundations cost approximately £1k.
I erected it myself so it didn't cost anything additional. So yes, £
12k erected.
in the beginning I approached some local firms and the cheapest quote I got was for £18k erected but without a floor.
I'd say around £12,000 for the building (in kit form), foundation work and concrete floor.
It's relatively cheap for what you get. I've seen small garages for sale in the area going for £10k - £12k which would just about squeeze a car in. I'm very lucky to have the land and extremely fortunate...
Ha. I just plodded on slowly with it, no rush. It took a while to cut the wood to the right shapes and sizes, then it all had to be cleaned and sanded. I maybe spent 2/3 hours a day on it before I got bored :-)
I've built a Workbench.
All the benches I've viewed online do not look up to the job and are no where near big or solid enough so I didn't have much choice but to build my own. I used all the left over wood that I used for the shuttering when the concrete was done and the legs were left over...
