More protection is always good if you are a 3 or 4 seasons user. Fit is water tight top and bottom with a breather hole to allow actuation.
It's the best solution I have found to date.
This with the scraper seal has to be unbeatable IMHO

Picked up a misfire on 082 .. Plugged the OBD reader in and it flagged cyl 2
Had a little check of the injectors and sure enough the ohms on No2 were down to 3.5 ( Should be 13.5-17 or so )
So if anyone is having a similar issue that info is out there.

I do still do the odd set... But I am so busy with my real job at the moment I can't provide the speed of service that would keep customers happy .. Rather than disappoint I've put the rebuilds on the back burner for now ...
These are clearly ex team stock that have been in the spares truck at rally's and now the program is finished are getting sold off to our guy... Unfitted to cars but not 100% new
Ok keep me posted.. It shouldn't be the shafts as they are identical to the OEM ones but without the hex in the top.. Were you able to get them tight enough without that ? I just use a electric nut gun on mine and it fine..
Real work at the moment is 12-14hr days.. It's not leaving enough time to do a proper job to a realistic time scale.. Things may change but for now I can't do both.. I'm very sorry to owners who feel let down but this is where we are right now..
After a bit of thought I will be drawing a line under my damper servicing .. On top of my day job the work leval is proving unsustainable .. It's dissapointing to do this as helping the forum was my intention but rather than providing a poor service I'd sooner not bother.. The work is taking me...
Well it was concived as a track car TBH and all the testing would have been done on track for the damper development .. I have said in my thread i belive the low speed damping is on the high side for the road .. I must play with that and see if i can help the road manners..
