Doubt it, that deal is for a boggo cup with nil options. This is a sport, cup suspension, id paint etc. I'd rather pay a bit more and have all the toys (and did :D )
Had mine for 3 months and can say it is easier to get to the limit in the 200. Feels a bit more composed.
Saying this though, saw a pic of my old T the other day and I do miss it a bit. Wish I could've kept it as well, no regrets though :)
or ''Renaultsport'' to Renault #-o
I can see what people mean though. I'd have stripped it out and painted it blue with stripes LIKE A GORDINI. But if you like the styling, and as said previously, the extra £2k is the same as speccing a clio and adding those extras, then it doesn't really...
If anything it's the best/richest club teams cherry picking the best from the world, that's why they would be better than any international team
I can't believe there's so many none football fans. Football is my life (literally), though I do often think occasions like this must be heaven...
I saw an S3 with that colour combo which made me go for the black roof and that had a black spoiler which I really liked. Couldn't quite stretch to one of those though
Thanks for the comments, half expected a bit of stick
As for the Black roof, I intended to paint the rear spoiler black too to make it even more black and white, but still undecided. I think it makes it look a bit more 'race styleee' without going too ott
My 200 with Cup chassis. It's Pearl White btw - went for the Black/White combo. Like it a lot :D
Totally different to the T. More comfortable, not as fast top end (but it's only on 800 miles so not loosened up yet).
The cornering however is unbelievable. Feels different to a Trophy but does...
I'd be more convinced if they ran a 200, 197 and a 182 back to back onthe same rollers. Can't see 217 being the case, people spent thousands on their 197s to get little bhp gains
There's loads on the renaultsport forum. Everyone is so impressed with it. It's what the 197 shouldve been after the Trophy. Even some owners have said their new 200s run better than their ran in 197s.
Mines coming this week, I'll put some pics up to show what has replaced 353 :D
It had a couple of minor bits on it. It could do with a new gearknob and the back of the recaros were scratched from people getting in and out. But it was like that when I got it and didn't bother me. Depends how fussy you are. Drove fantastically though
My meg 225 was seriously quick in a straight line, but that was about it, like a ST. Trophy was miles more smiles  but depends what you want/need from a car
Yeah, can't wait for mine too. 3 weeks :D
Gone for Pearl White, Black roof, Black speedlines, Black GT spoiler, cup chassis (so with luxuries).
Will it drive better than my T, don't know. Does it look better, yes. Built better, yes. More comfortable (even with cup dampening), yes.
Will I miss...
Due to the arrival of my 200 next month, I am putting my Trophy up for sale. I've loved every minute with it, but got an offer I couldn't refuse
So here it is
55 plate
31.5k miles (going up daily)
No mods, original exhaust in good order
Usual Trophy spec plus a Tunepoint for the ipod which...
Got one ordered, but would rather it go to someone wanting one than the rubbish trade in offer, though have got someone interested if it's still here in a week or so
I'm looking to sell, mine has the above requirements except I'm the 3rd owner. All the others have registered their ownership on here, so could be tracked down. Looking for a quick sale. If you're interested pm me
My belts are being done this month for £470 and the dampers are about £500. Try look for one with these done, or negotiate off the price. I did the 2nd so I knew they were done
I'm going on a hen do this weekend
Me and the little man are taking mummy, but are staying 1/2 a mile down the road as she's never left him. Setting off for Bath at 5 in the morning in the scenic
