How does insurance work out on track days?
I'm up for a track day but it will be my first time and i would also class myself as a beginner. Not to sure about taking the trophy though think ill have to buy a cheaper car and strip it out. - got a saxo vtr but i doubt that this is powerful enough.
Heres one for £11200 with less than 5k on the clock.

There is a Trophy owner in my home village as well!! :o
they make 501 Trophys and there are two in the same poxy village in Wales!
not very exclusive is it
I'll find out if he/she a member, if not i'll find out his number for the owners register.
I'm pretty sensible anyway (touch wood), i dont think i've done the tripod yet.. that will wait till next week :D
The car is mental compared to my previous steers :D :D :D
Anyone up for the 'Morego' conversion and a lightening regime on the Trophy  ?
just get back from my first B-road blast!!!!!
you lot are f**ing right, i cant stop smiling :D
the thing is a missile compared to my 90bhp Saxo and i love it!!!!

3 stars please Mr moderator!
Just driven 6 hours on the motorway and now having a beer whilst the missis goes out in the Trophy to pose.
first impressions..its a bit better than my Saxo.
I'm new to this forum but if this is the 'infamous' Stromba then why is everyone biting?
BTW - Whats the story on this Stromba fella, i read that he has been banned from the forum (why?) and that he is bitter that Renault have produced a car that seems to better the Williams. someone please...
I cant wait!!
Though i've gotta drive for 3hours in our 90k Saxo vtr, buy the car then follow the Trophy back home for another 1.5hours before i get to try it out!
:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
I'm collecting my Trophy next week :D but i'd like to know what the service intervals are. Its on 5000miles at the mo so i'd like to be prepared for any immediate costs.
BTW:- Got my cliotrophy.co.uk sticker..just need the car!
Yeha!
Should be picking up my Trophy next week - it'll be garaged once my drive way is finished (I dug it up a year ago - dont ask), so it will be sleeping on the road for a while so which steering wheel clamps, other (cheapish) security should I buy?
I'm hoping to buy one between £blah blah and £12k... I guess that they are in demand, minus 500 left and a couple of people can sell theirs for what they bouight them for ...so zero depreciation for one years motoring....allright for some!!!
