I'm on here pretty much daily. The SPAM is a pain in the arse at the moment. They always come in waves and I think a new bot has found a way in. I've mentioned this to Nik in Admin to see if there is something he can do to block this wave of spammers. They seem too keen on golf clubs

When mine broke (read someone tried to steal them) it took a while for me to source some. I managed to find some on eBay from a car that someone was breaking. Not sure if you know but these are £180 for the pair from Reno... :shock:

They are indeed. 182 Cup ones are the same if not similar to the Trophy ones.

Search on here will give you many a thread. Basically in the T the wiper stalk would allow you to adjust the speed on the intermittent setting. Fitting the stalk with this control on it will allow you to adjust the speed.

Really!? Not heard of that one before. When did that come into play? What happens to people who keep cars locked away as toys until the sun comes out. DO they need to tax the car each time they want to go out in it instead of leaving it parked with tax but no insurance? I would have though the...

Anyone know or used a company for 1 day cover? Looking to get the T on the road this weekend to blow away the cobwebs before the tax runs out at the end of the month. Found RAC and another one on google, anyone know of any others out there?

I find in the summer, the heat makes the boot seal stick to the boot making it a pain in the arse to open. In the winter, it insists on slamming down and smacking me in the head. Just can't win! :roll:

May still be worth waiting till the weather warms up a little. Mine are shite and always have been in winter, fail to keep the boot up for very long.

I would hope it's cheap, as it sounds like it needs a lot of work doing on it. Be interested to find out from the owner what has actually gone wrong with it.

If you leave the T or a Cup standing for that matter, you will probably need to replace the rear discs more often as they are poor even when used... They tend to rust quite quickly as the bias is mostly on the fronts meaning the braking surface on the rears is not used as much so rust builds...

Shouldn't it be the other way round? Enjoy the T in the summer on the dry roads and then keep it at home in the cold/wet months. :wink:

I got mine done at BG Motorsport (Silverstone). There are a few other places you can get them done. Do a search on the forum will bring up many threads about the dampers and refurb.

I recently purchased a house which means I maybe forced (regrettably) to move the Trophy on :(. Currently I'm not in a rush to sell as it's tucked away in a garage (been there for the last couple of months) and I'm using a different car to keep the miles of the T. Usual Trophy Spec. 2005...
