Which plastic part are you referring to? I seem to recall the cable had a metal end to it (like a brake cable on a push bike) which you had to pull and put into a metal holder that moves when you lift the lever.

Update... Car this morning started on the key. Turned it off and tried again and started a second time. The car was parked in a garage over night, could this be something to do with coolant temp sensor? After starting it the car drove perfectly for 8 or so miles. Strange.

Not on a Clio, but I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions: Focus 1.8 53 plate 31k miles Been running perfectly. I left the car standing without being driven for about 3 weeks. Started and drove perfectly for a week after being moved, noticed that occasionally it wouldn't start first...

A Spammer brought this thread to life again. I've deleted the posts in this thread that didn't make sense once the SPAM post was removed.

Had the same thing fail on my T, part was £50 from the dealer for the whole Solenoid. The motor had failed on my old one. Easy to fit when you have the part, as the post above says, getting into the boot is easy enough too.

In most cases it can be but the tyre has to be cleaned and I also think the item that caused the puncture has to be removed before using the foam otherwise it welds the item to the tyre and it's time for a new one. Generally though I don't think many people touch it as it's a messy job to...

I guess you saw Nik's reply to your other thread about the shop here: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=10183 He has relocated abroad so things maybe take slightly longer to get back up and running. I've spoken to him recently about the shop and he is working on things.
