Cue, I notice you have these fitted, do you think its a worth while investment? I'm also thinking of doing it as I notice on one of the Sach shocks that there is a bubble under the paint so I may change the rears for KONI when they start to rust.

I suppose people would change it incase the tension of the new cambelt puts more load on the pump and it breaks.

Sach dampers on the rear as well as the front. These aren't fitted to normal 182's

I've always wondered what they do in those vehicle checks. Is it to make sure you have tax, insurance etc and enough tread on your rubber?

I agree! It's good when someone shows an interest in it. It's like when people look at you when driving down then road, you think they must know their cars to realise what the T is as to most people it would be a normal Clio with dark wheels.

You are going to owe me a beer! :) Just took one of my mounts to try and bodge it slightly and noticed a BMW part number... I thought "surely not" and it is!! Its from an X5!! BMW Part no: 18 . 21 - 1 439 497 spoke to a BMW dealer and they are £18. A family member of mine works for BMW so...

Yes. They have also suggested someone else to try (alpine) which I have contacted to see what they can do... If anything.

It turns out they could now charge 70 Euros for the rubber mounts and shipping to Paris where I have a friend that could send them over to me. This will take longer but will still be cheaper then the 80 Euro P&P they were charging. Anyone interested in getting some when I get mine?

Good spot! I'll keep an eye on these. Dealers sell them for £120 or something stupid like that. Either way its the wrong side of £100 and far to expensive for two bits of plastic!

Its for styling and adds weight to your car! oh... and if you hit it on a curb it costs you an expensive trip to the dealer.

I had a brain fart the other day and thought maybe that price includes the mounting bracket the rubber mounts fix too, so I thought I would email and ask... ... They said its 80 Euros for the 2 rubber mounts and then 80 Euros P&P! Why so much!? Are they personally driving them here and posting...

I get it in the T on uneven roads. My old 172 Cup used to be a nightmare most of the time! I do notice the T is getting worst which makes me think maybe the front shockers are in need of a service...

I've dropped him a PM to see if he has any ideas. Its not a major issue if it can't be fixed, maybe if I deleted the car from my Garage and created a new one that may fix it... Thanks for your help any way!

For that price I'm tempted to leave mine broken! :roll: I'll do some investigating to find if someone can make them... I'll let you know if I get any where!
