Agree! If you wanted a car with coil overs, why buy a Trophy when the special thing about it is the suspension?? Madness! The cost to refurb the suspension is around £450 and only needs doing around every 4-5 years depending on use. I would spend the money you are looking to spend on...

I would be interested in the cause of this as I too have a creaking noise from the front since having the cambelt, aux belt and lower arms with ball joints done. Again I get it when reversing at low speeds. I keep meaning to call the garage who fitted it to see if they have heard of it before...

Be fine for track use I would say, I think from memory some people on here use this setup for the track.

I've gone for Brembo HC discs (http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=2786) with DS2500 pads (http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=2346). It is a popular combo on the T's. Most change the brake hoses to braided ones too!

TBH I can't see them costing too much as they don't weight too much. I will bung them in a jiffy bag and take them to a post office when I'm passing one to ask how much it would cost to send. Or we can wait for the next meet, or organise a MTB meet...

I think from memory I heard they were £125 but not sure if that is correct, if it is then I guess they are a throw away unit so to speak.
