Mine had exactly the same issue last year at the MOT. Replaced them with something that was more up to the job instead of the French cheese they fit instead of brakes! :)

For me it was bad steering when going over un-even roads. And a knocking noise at slow speed as the front of the car bounced lightly up and down on an uneven road surface. Saying that though, since having them replaced the handling has never been the same so I guess I need a refurb. I will...

I've heard too they need headlight washers as the light is so bright it could dazzle someone driving the opposite way if a spec of dirt/bug/poo/etc was on the headlight. Hence why they automatically spray the headlights every now and then when you spray the windscreen.

I had a similar thing with mine, checked the tyre pressures at the weekend and they were slightly down on the front. Put a bit more air in them and it seems to have sorted it out. I did have the tracking checked a while back, as said, it would be worth getting this checked out.

i would like to be brave enough to attempt this but I would be worried it would damage something. Am I right in thinking you clean it with the engine running too? Never known if thats correct or not.

I think they still reset it through the OBD. So the clock starts counting down for the next service for both time and milage.

Where abouts are you based? Someone on here may have a code reader you can plug in.

The gap marked in the photo will get smaller as gas leaks from the damper. 5mm is normal, if it's touching (as in the metal arm holding the external reservoir is touching the casing of the reservoir) then this means your shock is out of gas and needs to pay a trip to BG for a service. If you...
