Never actually used the Renault stuff, although I did use a can of holts tyre weld the other week and it was brilliant, easy to use and no mess.

Just noticed fastchip offer a Decat overrun calibration for 29euros. Just wondering if anyone has any info on it, will it have any performance increases over the standard 98ron cal upgrade they offer for 10euros? Or is it just a bit pointless?

Good answer! When i purchased the Trophy i didnt really realise what a great car it is, i actually nearly had a type r the week before (was torn between the two) Would love to see some of the old articles from when it first came out.

Got a policy with Aviva, gone to change the car to the trophy and they say they can't insure me on that car until im 25. Great. :x

Such a high spec'd car and would be very competitive, personally i would keep the engine standard and go down the road rallying route, so much fun! :)

I'm going for the toyo t1rs, never had them before but they seem to have decent reviews, and are 30 pound a tyre cheaper than the michelins from camskill.

I see the calibration downloads on the fastchip website are now 5euros. When i purchased my rs tuner the ecu calibration was a free download. Is their any difference? cheers ed

Well it has the past couple of years with it fitted, mechanic tells me emissions are high but still OK to pass the test. Saves me the job of swapping it every year :D
