Hi. I’m slowly just rejuvenating the tired plastics on my Trophy with a bit of Maguires “back to black” trim finisher. Freshening things up nicely.

One question as having looked at lots of pictures of other people’s Trophy I can’t decide, is the grill either side of the front Renault badge supposed to be grey or black? Some plastics looked faded the grill doesn’t in particular, I don’t want to get it wrong!

Have you tried OWATROL Polytrol Colour-Renovator? I found it on Amazon. It’s amazing and semi permanent.

Is not the Megs stuff for internal trim?

Colour wise, I would say off black. Gtechniq C4 is my weapon of choice here.IMG_0462.jpeg

Does anyone know how to safely remove the sticker inserts? Mine are now fairly bleached and crispy 😕

Not wishing to sound pedantic... ;) 😁 But are there a couple of little plastic clip/fastener things missing from your grill / slam panel there Jules?

I’d be thinking the same if it was not mine. Pesky plastic fixings are getting brittle with old age, but aren’t we all.

I also managed to get the sticky gone from my airbag (may well come back) with a white magic sponge. Isopropyl and lots of microfibre towels. Finished with the OWATROL to try and protect from UV. Great success!
I’ve used the GTechnic C4 before on my 1994 Range Rover. Mixed results.
