I waited four months for my splitter but it was worth it.

Thanks Ed, will start spending the pennies.
4 months! That seems excessive! Mine arrived in about 4 working days, it was the extra bill from the shipping company a week later which soured my splitter deal. My own fault though, for adding lots of other bits to my order & taking it over the import duty threshold…

They were on back order with the manufacturer. I'm guessing they waited for enough orders to trigger the next manufacturing run.

I just checked my Oreca account and I previously purchased six centre caps. Will need to look for them in the parts hoard.

I've already replaced the bumper and arch fittings with marine grade torx screws.

To finish off an expensive adventure, I have secured a full set of new old stock arch liners.

Does anyone have access to the renault part numbers database? Trying to find the original rear view mirror part number, I think it's 7700413867.

A Spanish based dealer has told me a mk2/3 Trafic mirror is the same mirror.

Just bought this one. A bargain compared to the rest of the parts I bought this week.

Who says parts sharing cant be useful 👍

Who would have thought to look at Dacia parts for bits formerly used on Renaults.

This is a first for myself, I've been asked to pay £45 in taxes for buying two €35 badges from the Oreca group. After some delayed responses, Oreca has confirmed they don't collect VAT on behalf of the UK government and they declared the value correctly.

Never had to pay import VAT for Oreca purchases before and I'm not sure if I want to pay £135 for two badges.

This is ridiculous now - I was under the assumption that you had to spend over £140 before you had import duty to pay -

Really makes getting bits from France very expensive now and could hinder future projects which is a shame - also no more commission from the front splitters 🤣🤣🤣

Are there any more arch liners ready to fall off the back of a lorry?

I wish, would of probably bought them for the hoard.

Kam Racing have the passenger side one in stock and I just got lucky with finding someone selling a new set they didn't need anymore.

Ultimately it down to cost and they can make a higher return by using the storage space on newer car parts.

The mould may worn with age and it was deemed to expensive to repair. Alternatively, it was determined making a viable run isn't achieving the profit margins they require once you factor in storage costs & depletion rates.
