Got mine overnight via Smiths Renault in Peterborough... so they should have no excuses (and they fitted it for me FOC).

I've done this to my Trophy - took half an hour - simple part swap. I'm not a mechanic. Got the seats effectively barnd new for £100 from a written off 182 that had 50 miles on the clock! Renault quoted £1500 for the parts!

Not long after I got my Trophy it wouldn't start - AA man came out stuck his arm right down under the engine and 'fiddled' with a switch on the flywheel (?) - then everything worked. He said it was the most common cause of non-starting on the Clio. Never had the problem again... Could that...

Note that the new price is £1500 each, as my insurance company found out when I ground a Speedline into the kerb at just 30 miles per hour (on ice) and bent the damper. So £500 is a good saving.
