Thanks to all the people who make this forum the friendly & informative forum that it is and i'll be on the lookout for any tomatoes out there :D
I used this (but in black) :-

From what I could tell the original colour was a silver plated finish of some kind which had all but peeled off.
Nothing like putting my foot in it - sorry big S  . Should add 'from what I saw from the pics of yours' plus it was bloomin awful weather they were hooning them round in.
Would much rather have the GTT than the Twingo any day for street cred RS or not !
Good find - I don't have sound on my PC at work so will have a listen later to see which came out on top.
Didn't realise the Megy was a two seater with the role cage in the back.
Done mine in black heat resistant caliper paint after the original silver coating started to flake off and show signs of surface corrosion. Very subtle with the wheels on. Of course the same can't be said of the Pagids ........

Real good find Hoolio - I should think its a real head turner from Renault fans !!.
I remember riding as a passenger in one which must be 15 years ago and I was terrified partly due to how low to the ground you are - great fun :D
I think brand new ones are effected to some extent due to the gas pressure changing due to temperature - it does get worse as the struts age though due to leakage.
Just came back to the car after watching the new bond film (slightly disappointed after all the hype and rave reviews) and behind me was a blue 172 (cup I think) with the Trophy 2 cars to the right.
Must be local to go to that cinema ???.
