I get that, for me it’s tidying it up for longevity not about keeping it perfect for ever. Plan is to keep for the long term, we’ve put a lot into the car and know its history so on the way to forming that bond👍

I’m in the fair weather camp! It’s about getting it to a state it’ll be good for another 15-20yrs. I think I will bite the bullet, but want to enjoy it this year before it goes in for 3wks!

That includes rear axle off, all suspension off, exhaust off etc and each item prepped and put back. Any frame or body rust corrected

Just got the quote from Fettle & Finesse for full underbody clean, strip, rust proofing, painting of components and rebuilding everything. c.£3.9k all in Does that seem reasonable? Thinking of booking in for November

I have to admit it’s these write ups that tempted me with the Panda, I know that a lot of folks have modified the rear bump stops and rear springs to eibach. That leaves the Smart Brabus Coupe then, rear engine and rwd. However will need to get the remapping and clutch adjustment done to help...

Hi All, Quick question (s), thinking of that second toy, any views on the Smart Brabus Coupe or Fiat Panda 100hp. Needs to be small to fit with the Clio in the garage. I know the Fiat is meant to be fun but wonder if it’s a bit too similar to the Clio??

Afternoon all, #309 has got a new leak! Anyone able to tell me likely source? It’s coming off the silver cylinder in the photo below - (very front on passenger side); In its defence it’s been stood the past 6 weeks as I’ve not been well (abscess!😒)
