I went Mark Fish supplied Koni adjustables purely because Renault rear Sachs were on back order with no ETA of when they would be back in stock, I couldnt afford to wait as the rear of the car was stepping out when cornering on uneven surfaces! You might want to check if Renault have any stock...

^ Not quite. Headlight washers have to work if present or its a fail; so if you dont have them they cannot be tested and therefore you pass. Have a read: http://www.motinfo.gov.uk/htdocs/m4i00000001.htm Section 1.7

Mick @ Diamond does all my work too id recommend him to anyone with a Renault. How you would go about arranging an inspection with him before purchasing though is another question...

All Trophys come with the bog standard halogen units. To swap them over is a simple plug and play swap however bare in mind if you source 172 xenons you need to take the headlight adjuster motor from your halogens and fit it to the 172 headlights. They changed the design of the motors plug...

True but its not difficult to PSI test the pistons to see if you even need them refurbing or not. In my case I didn't so a lick of paint and jobs sorted :)

Calipers? I bought a pair of 225 brembo's and had them repainted for less than that. Food for thought ;)

When I phoned Mark Fish on Friday to order, he said I got the last pair of his Konis (wrote my name on the box to stop someone else buying them lol) and the shocks alone were £102 each I think he said? He's phoning me back on Monday to take payment.

After ringing around all sorts of places today I have caved and ordered a pair of adjustable Koni's from Mark. :rolleyes:

I really wanted to keep it standard if im honest, or at least stick with Sachs rather than a half/half of Sachs and Koni. I just assumed seeing how Sachs will make these for Renault can i just cut out the middle man and source them direct perhaps? An off the shelf part surely (rears)?
