    Leaking door card.

I’m glad to confirm that the problem is fixed. I cleaned the old broken and disintegrated butyl tape from the door cards and the doors. Very messy job. Found some 9.0mm tape on Amazon which was just the job. I noticed that the rear of the cards have a dotted line/channel which I assume shows...

    Michelin pilot sport 5's

I swapped to Michelin PS a few weeks ago. Feel good, look good and reassuringly French. My only mistake was booking with Blackcircles for a home visit. He bent the jacking point at the front and lied about it. Not enough care. I should have gone to my local specialist. Lesson learnt! Mobiles...

    Leaking door card.

Thanks! These forums are great. What a wonderful community of helpful people. Sorry I don’t know your name. I like your Mi16! An amazing French fancy and super rare these days. Looks like I need to replicate the membrane and sealant.

    Leaking door card.

I had the Trophy out in the rain for the first time since the respray and glass replacement today. Actually having Michelin Pilot Sport 5’s fitted all round. That’s another story. I’ll post a separate thread on how they feel. I’ve heard good things… Back on topic. I noticed water dribbling from...

    New Paint Job for 327

Bonnet switch seemed to be ok. I’ve isolated the interior sensors using the 2 turns of the key technique. No more alarm going off. Can’t find replacements online. Shame. Paint job is mega. Really pleased. Just washed after yesterday’s drive into Wales. Very very wet!

    New Paint Job for 327

Does anyone have any experience with the security alarm? I’ve swapped the battery and the key batteries but it’s still going off after about 2 hours from locking the car. I get 4 blinks when I unset it which suggests an ignition tamper in the handbook. Any common faults and fixes? Got to be...

    New Paint Job for 327

Really chuffed. Just new a new trophy side sticker. They got a little crease in one side. Details matter!

    New Paint Job for 327

It’s finished. I’m really pleased with the results. The new glass makes it look like a new car. The colour seems deeper than before. The bodywork chap went to great pains to get the colour correct. Big repair job on the jacking point. Very tidy. Plain leather steering wheel re-trim finishes it...

    New Paint Job for 327

Just started polishing and putting back together this morning. New glass in and new seals make a huge difference. Hoping to pick up this weekend.

    New Paint Job for 327

Should be ready for the end of next week. The glass proved a bit more of a challenge but came through eventually. I found a great reproduction sticker pack for the engine bay and glass. The colour match is much better than the previous paint job. Royal Steering Wheels have done a great job on...

    New Paint Job for 327

A few more progress photos which shows the extent of work needed to repair the disolved jacking point. Probably the result of a poor repair to the rear quarter at some point in its life. The rest of the car is solid (so far). One comment was the lask of a splash guard behind the grille covering...

20 years of salted roads can be cruel.

    New Paint Job for 327

Update photos. A few minor repairs required. Managed to get hold of all the trims too. Looking forward to getting it back! Bodywork generally is in great condition. Not much filler.

    New Paint Job for 327

I thought they looked pretty good! Another great win is the interior Mike. It’s so important to have an original and damage free cabin. It’s where you spend your time. I just replaced the trim clips on the door frame vertical trims (can’t think what else to call them) courtesy of Amazon...
