The R27 only had a production run of 500, this encompassed all colours. yes nimbus is a rare colour i started a register on clio197 and at present from 80 regsitered R27's there are 3 nimbus. i love the nimbus myself from the pictures i have seen , the majority do seem to be liquid yellow...

i had a brand new flame red mk2 172FF, it is still in the family as the mrs has it now, a couple CTR's, A focus RS, 182 cup and now the trophy. trying to talk the mrs into selling her flame red and buying a trophy se we can be greedy and have two.

i paid £10k for a 55 reg,1 owner , 9400 miler which IMHO was a good buy. there does seem to be a few sale at the moment so he might have to reduce his price a bit to generate some interest.

Luke i'm trying not to become so obsesed with the trophy but all the signs are there, on a weekend it goes in the garage and i use the g/f's 172, i stay with it when we go to the supermarket, i am forever checking it over making sure everything is as i left it.

just after giving it a clean this week

was having a look under the car and noticed the rivets holding the sills have gone rusty and IMHO look nasty. i am thinking of getting some bolts with nyloc nuts paint them red and replace the rivets with them. i think it will look far better than what is already there. good idea or not?
