    FS: Clio Trophy 126

Change in circumstances means I very reluctantly have to sell my Trophy - I've owned it for almost two years and enjoyed every second. Advert on Pistonheads below: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2404226.htm Cheers for looking, and also - thanks to all forum members for being such a helpful...

    Splitter

Thanks Karl, but I can't justify the extra £130! I'll give Vindis Skoda a call.

    Cheers Sir Dave, appreciated.

    Splitter

Yeah I remember reading on here that the Skoda splitter is practically identical - Fabia VRS splitter is it? Has anyone actually used one? If so I'll definitely go for that option, considering I can only get a genuine one for £140 or something from Wests. Haggling on a £12 splitter Mark? Haha -...

I need a new splitter, again. Would prefer OEM to carbon but interested in either. Needs to be in vgc. Thanks.

Do you wave at other ClioSport drivers?

I think waiting for the wave and being poised to respond is a good shout - acknowledging another driver and having them just ignore you makes you feel kinda sad. I was in traffic the other day when a 197 going the other way stopped alongside me. I looked over to nod to the driver but he just...

Do you wave at other ClioSport drivers?

Bit of a random one this, but I'm curious to know how many people on here acknowledge other ClioSport owners when they see them on the road. I only rarely see other hot Clios round my way, but when I do I tend to give a friendly flash or a wave - normally I get one back, but not always...

    Forthcoming Service at Angelworks

I didn't bother going back to Ben - to be fair I suppose the rattle's not necessarily due to his work, and it could have come about of its own accord. But when I took the car to be serviced by him, despite me having specifically asked that the kits were used, I'm pretty sure he only changed the...

    Forthcoming Service at Angelworks

Hey Mark. No, Wests didn't specifically say what it was. My best guess is that it was one of the tensioners though - as it only happened when the engine was warm, I guess something was a bit loose after everything had heated up and expanded or something. Really not sure. It's been an expensive...

    Forthcoming Service at Angelworks

Resurrecting an old thread here but felt it was important to add that in hindsight I would not recommend having your T serviced at Angelworks - a couple of weeks ago noticed a slight metallic rattle coming from the belts area of the engine on tickover once the engine had warmed up. Diagnosis...

    new 60 plates

Yeah that's pretty much right - basically all the "5x" numbers have now been used, so for the second half of each year for the next decade "6x" numbers will be used instead. So this year we've gone from "10" to "60"; in March we'll see "11", then this time next year it'll be "61". The "20" code...

Interesting Tyre Review - this month's EVO

PE2s situation is looking grim - Cambridge Performance Tyres have 50 branches and not one of them has any in stock. And like what happened when Renaultsport enquired, they checked with Michelin and were told that there's no date for any new stock... not looking good. Will try calling ATS and...

No not too late - was going to order them today. I'll give performance tyres a call. Nice one!

Interesting Tyre Review - this month's EVO

I'm picking up a pair from Camskill, delivered for £205. Fitting at my local dealer is £12 per tyre, so ~£230 fitted isn't toooo bad. Considered the Uniroyals but... nah, would rather pay a few extra quid and stick with the tyres Renaultsport chose themselves.
