There is a pin in place to lock the damper. This was put in as the setting was considered the best from the development and also to ensure that in production there was no possible variance. The chassis engineer's view is:

The name Trophy is used because it's the name of one of the race programmes. Cup and Trophy are used on the race versions of the road cars, nothing to do with F1.
