    Trophy 174 for sale -SOLD

Yes, a very easy sale thanks. The new owner is a forum member, so may be along to say hello :). I am a little sad to leave the Trophy fray, as I have enjoyed five wonderful years with the car. Though it is time for a change and I have my heart set on a MINI GP (2006), so hope to pick one up...

    Winter tyre advice?

I run Dunlop SP Winter Sport M3s' on the original Turinis and I have to say, they are a revelation in the snow, whilst giving more grip, feel and confidence in sub 7 degree temperatures. In fact I am swapping over to them on Saturday :).

    Bala, Wales

The second half of the A4212 (after Llyn Celyn) from Bala to Trawsfynydd is a belter; quite open and fast. You could do a favourite circuit of mine and then take the A470 south to Dolgellau and then the A494 (the first few miles of this from Dogellau to Bala are great fun if you have a sports...

    Catchpole in his R26.R

Sorry, i know this is off topic but I saw Catchpole in his R26.R on the M25 last Friday. :D I was popping along from J.10 towards the M3 at around 8pm, when in the distance I saw what I initally thought was a standard R26 in lane 2. Though it was the colour that initially grabbed my...

anybody got or knows much about a s2 lotus exige?

They are simply stunning. Though alot more expensive to run than a Trophy. My brother had two 111s' followed by a S2 Exige. Tyres are Yokohama ADVAN A048s, which are essentially semi-slicks, so the wear rate is alot higher. My brother never took his on a track and they lasted around...

    Which stainless exhaust??

I have a Milltek system and for me it's just the right balance. Pretty quiet at low revs and then really opens up further up the range. Also Milltek are one of the very few, if not the only, to publish output figures for their systems. Since putting it on, I've definitely noticed there's more...

    Miltek Exhaust

I'd echo all the comments here. I bought a Milltek system shortly after I got the Trophy and feel it's really added to the character of the car. Furthermore, Milltek are one of the few, if not the only, manufacturers to publish peformance figures; I've definitely noticed a palpable increase in...
