Yes something like that. I got RenTech to recommend and fit mine when it was in for service last year. It's not a big job. Worth the investment in my mind.

Tallandy - do you have the orginal horn on your Trophy? I ask because I felt the muted beep you get from the orignal just wasn't 'man' enough and hence upgraded to a louder twin tone horn (from PIAA). Worth considering?

Hi, My top mounts are creaking and I thought I'd have a go at replacing them (with Renault ones) myself. I've bought two top mount kits from Renault and am now after instructions/guidance on how to replace them. I searched on here and other Clio forums for details but couldn't find anything...

Ferodo DS2500s seem to be a popular choice (I have them and rate them) as are Pagid Blues (RS4-2).

Chris, I currently use Ferrodo DS2500s with Brembo HC disks, braided lines and racing fluid and and when I did Rockingham last October they performed very well. Nice firm pedal, no fade and happily endured a 20-25 min session on track - although the disks were glowing by the end of that ;-)...

I drove a 197 Cup for a weekend and 250 miles and compared it back to back with my Trophy a few months ago. I liked the Cup - it's brakes, it's gearbox/ratios, it's exhaust noise, it's styling, it's handling, it's Recaro seats. You could certainly feel it was a bigger, heavier, more refined car...
