NS-2Rs are a brilliant tyre IMHO. I was initially put off purchasing them by the image of the brand but I absolutely love them. Sticky as anything and really suited to the light, nimble Trophy.
The MM ones are a perfect fit and they do what they are supposed to do. Since neither the MM or SGS ones are OEM I'm not sure you can say that one is more correct than the other TBH. So long as everyone is happy with their choice etc etc.

Are the Sachs OK? My car knocked like crazy and didn't handle well when I first purchased it. When I took the Sachs off for a returb and fitted standard dampers, I realised how knackered they were.
The MM ones seem to be about perfect in terms of strength TBH. Once you open it, the boot rises quickly (but not violently) and then slows to a nice steady pace at the top of the arc. Plenty of clearance for the spoiler even though the shock is maybe 5mm longer than OEM.

Quick bump for this thread as I've just fitted the Magneti Marelli struts - reference GS0670. They are a perfect fit, work brilliantly and look OEM. I got mine from eBay seller euromotofan_com for £26 posted last week although they've now gone up to £55 for some reason.
