    Passenger seat slide issue

Same has just happened on my Trophy... did the above part work for you Rawhide? Was it just a case of slotting into the seat rail/runner with it all in situ or did you still have to unbolt the thing?

    Starting Problem.

Having EXACTLY the same problem as your video with my Trophy - and it only happens on a morning when leaving for work... Rest of time it seems fine Someone suggested turn on, let it prime, turn off then turn on, let it prime, then start... which does seem to work. Others have said it can be the...

    Trophy's & insurance!

Yeah that's fine and its already been declared to my insurers, hence I've no problem posting it - it will continue to be declared. I was unclear in the first post reading it back - but some are telling me it's not an accident based on the circumstances and therefore aren't noting it on the...

    Trophy's & insurance!

It's in my old Civic and not an accident in the Trophy which I've only had two days! A taxi scraped the front wing and the respray paperwork is with the car and the new owner. I've always declared it to insurers but the reason I posted it was two insurers I've spoken to have asked if I've made...

    Trophy's & insurance!

Guys - sorry to hijack thread... I'll try cut a long story short... My policy renewed with Direct Line on 18th Feb on my Civic Type R to the tune of £444. I then bought Trophy #104, had to drive it home and so rung them up for a quote (declaring the exhaust and remap) - they wanted an extra...

    Looking at a Trophy...

Proud to announce I'm now the owner of Trophy #104! Despite higher miles at 93k, the service history is immaculate - it's had around £3k spent on it in the last few years between Rentech and Mark Fish. Brand new Michelin PS about 2 months ago - front dampers were returned in 2010 along with new...

    Looking at a Trophy...

As I thought... one of the cars is standard so I'll see when I look at that one if there is a noticeable difference in the pickup / response of the acceleration and the 5500rpm onwards point... Guess I might be able to tell having driven the standard one back to back.

    Looking at a Trophy...

Thanks guys - just a quick couple of questions before I head off to a view 2 different Trophy's this afternoon - I'm now also off to look at No. 298 (LV55 XOG) which does have a history on here. It looks like the first owner (Steve?) had a Group N remap at KTEC done - is there any way to tell...

    Looking at a Trophy...

Agreed - don't want to get carried away - definitely the best advice I was ever given was to always walk away if you weren't 100% on everything. I'm having a good chat first and will see how things progress, then go view later this week if everything still sounds worth checking out.

    Looking at a Trophy...

Hi guys, After a few conversations with the dealer in question, they are reluctant to move on price to allow me to go elsewhere for a cambelt change and they have told me they will be undertaking the work themselves regardless so that it isn't a 'bargaining' point. They have been very...

    Looking at a Trophy...

Hi Steve, I'm based down nr Wantage, Oxfordshire. One of the rear tyres looks like a Michelin - so possibly still Exaltos on the rear. Compiling a list of questions to fire off to them before I call and discuss. It's a little bit of a distance to travel but I want to be honest with figures...

    Looking at a Trophy...

Thanks Sir_Dave! Just the kind of useful 'once over' on the advert I was looking for - I hadn't spotted the splitter. Do you reckon that exhaust looks aftermarket? Possibly looks like the exhaust hanger / mount might need replacing or adjusting! Useful to know how to check the dampers as...

    Looking at a Trophy...

Hey guys, Had a good read around and most of my questions have already been answered but I was off to potentially look at this Trophy (No. 320) in exchange for my FN2 CTR but couldn't see any previous info on here about it. Link below...
