The other thing you need to check is the centre bore so the wheel fits correctly on. As this is what ensures wheel runs true & takes the load of the wheel as bolts or nut/studs are there to provide the clamping force.

You have two options if centre bore is incorrect. Too big & spigot rings can be fitted to make up difference, or if too small you can get them machined out to correct size. Some manufacturers like OZ actually fit spigot rings as standard so they fit whatever car they are bought for as makes manufacturing process quicker & cheaper.

it's easiest to just get a wheel known to be correct.
