The last post I saw with a quote on the exhaust system from Renault was £1400 + vat in 2012
yeah you would need a zero miles concours showroom heated garage queen example to even consider it back then.. even more so now.

That’s a mental price! ... I have a milltek on my 182 now so I’ll just shove that on. The original on the trophy has the top layer of metal gone on the backbox is so only a matter of time driving with heist. The only reason I wanted an original one was for a road trip as the milltek gets droney. Almost wondered if someone does flaps like on newer cars haha
Welcome on board Scott! I joined this forum last Summer and purchased #368 in October. Such a friendly group, wealth of knowledge. Sounds like you have purchased a nice Trophy. All the best, cheers KeithHello, I bought this car haha didn’t expect to see any questions about it when I registered!!
So abit about the car and me, got a silver 182 and had done a few posh bits like the recaros and turinis. Wasn’t planning on buying anything but saw this whilst I was working on London and took a look. You’re correct the belts need doing and the rear exhaust mounts are fooked, cracking on the heater controls, out 3 small paint marks. Generally the car is running great and you can tell it’s been garaged alot. The underside is immaculate and paint has hardly and marks, front bumper has been repainted. which was what swayed me and the fact it was 2 owners, there’s a rust bubble on a roof strip and I’ve replaced the boot struts for 1 series engine struts because of the spoiler height. Currently taking all goodies off my 182 ff and putting on trophy then selling . Finally I paid £10000 for it and feel that was a good price
Cheers for the tip and maybe have a look into that one day. I’ve spent this afternoon chaniging the door cards back over so my neighbours already have me on their mental list ?I have had the Janspeed on mine since owned in 2009 and the silenced mid section lost a baffle and rattled like mad. Ktec sourced me the unsilenced section to replace it and it sounds perfect. I don't want silence when I drive it, burbles lovely at idle and not overly noisy to hack off the neighbours!
Cheers Keith, yer it’s bang on and except for a few age related issues . Look forward to using this summer and if there’s any meets then it’s one extra! the cars come from Essex up to my home in cheshire so Wales isn’t to farWelcome on board Scott!
