Warning lights

Hi,

my ABS, Service and Traction control light are on. When I investigated, NS CV boot circllip had broken, so I guess this is what triggered them to come on.

I've cleaned up the grease thrown out, re-packed and temp put a cable tie around.

How do I get the lights to go out? I tried disconnecting the battery, to no avail.

hi your cv boot will not affect the abs light on but check that on the drive shaft it hasent damaged the ring or the sensor when the clip came off.

Done this, but can't get rid of lights?

I think I had these lights on my dash. The brake pedal sensor needed adjusting - move it until the brake lights stay on without the pedal pressed down then move it slightly back the other way.

have you read the fault codes? You need to find the reason the light is on(a scanner should put you in the right direction), then rectify and clear the codes.
