I need a new splitter and in the VW scene fitting a Leon Cupra R front splitter to certain cars is very popular so I wonder if it will suit the Clio?

You may think German (well Spanish!) car parts are expensive but it's only £20ish from main dealer (some rip off merchants are asking £40 on Ebay!) and prob better quality than the Clio part - I can't believe what Renault are asking for their piece of plastic!

Should screw on in same places with a bit of luck, will order one and report back, pics below.

Just a quick bit of research, I'm sure the guys on CS won't mind me posting their pics..

Personally I think that the Cupra-R splitter looks a touch odd as the centre section doesn't match any of the lines on the bumper. Seeing these things in the flesh can make a big difference but I would be worried that it may look a little halfrauds-after-market-bodge-tastic.. Only my opinion though.. Hope the images help! :)

Thanks for the pics.

Looks a lot better than I had expected TBH, it's not as if the original Reno splitter looks particularly good anyway.

Hmmm...
