URGENT HELP

My car, as you may know, is being repaired. The air bag computer is currently being reprogrammed by Renault.

However, the dealer cannot complete the reset because their computer thingy is asking for a side airbag code. But the car does not have side airbags!!! The dealer doesn't know the code and is waiting confirmation from the manufacturer of the code.

To speed up the process, does anyone know the code that tells the computer to reset?

This is getting infuriating; the car has been in repair for nearly a month now!

also i know the feeling my computer was saying the re-pre tensioners had fired...... well there aren't any so that was very clever of them wans't it

huh!! code for airbag thats a first.

Usually you got into the airbag computer with the clip system and set airbag config up there, each item on the system is listed and can be setup either with or without.
