Thats a good thing !!

I think a Trophy with high milage and rubbish history should go for £6K+ :p

and

Trophys with low miles and good / perfect history should go for £8K+ :p

I agree Marc there is a few trophy's with 60k+ not much history going for 5-6k

so surely a trophy with 40k-50k with good history can fetch 7-8k easy

Subtle difference there......gone up in value or gone up in advertised price!

There have been a few for sale for a few weeks now with no movement, a couple have gone fairly quickly. Based on my research recently they still need to be something special to fetch over £6k. Obviously as an owner it would be nice to see prices climbing but I think the age, running costs and narrow appeal will always impact on future values. I can't see them being hunted down by misty eyed buyers who hark back to their youth like the new breed of wedged up 1970s and 80s Ford RS buyers. Then again I sold a fully restored 1973 Escort RS 2000 for £8k a few years ago, now worth the best part of £30k so what do I know !!!!!

They've been steadily increasing over the last 12 months, prices are due to continue going north now.

As they become rarer, this will only accelerate the process.

Any view what a 20k mile car is worth ?

If it has all the correct stamps in the book at the right time and has had the belts & shocks done i would be asking for £7500/8000 ovno

I think with all the press the trophy gets year on year has helped with the price rise on the car but no where near the increase of others special cars atm

No I have no plans of selling yet I'm not bored and still enjoy every drive in my trophy. I think I will be buying another drivers car this year sometime.
