Was the V6 race series called the 'Clio v6 trophy challenge' (as in a big shiny trophy) i think thats where the model maker is getting the 'trophy' from ?

That appears to be a rather crudely modelled Clio V6 Trophy (Phase 1) - not a scale model by any stretch.
