Hello new to the site . Does any one find engaging gears is quite stiff . Is this normal on the trophy .

I guess it depends what you are used to. Its stiff compared to an S3 for example...

How many miles have you done? It should loosen up a bit if its still new.

As 'strike' mentioned..

But mine seems just about right at present, glides positively in and out of gears..

Mines good so far, 300 miles done.
Feels very swift moving left while in neutral, with some resistance going right

I'd call it nice and notchty rather than stiff.

Beats that "stirring porridge with a spoon" feeling :wink:

Could be the gear lever isnt aligned properly. I had this on my williams for a while. Was caused by incorrectly fitted engine mounts. New engine mount cured it.

However, all new cars have this to a certain extent. See if it gets better with miles.

My Trophy's gearbox was very notchy to start with, particularily from second to third. Now got over 2,000 miles on the clock and it is now super slick :D

How many miles have you covered?

It's going in tomorrow for the engine mount so i will get them to have a look . Thanks for the help
