Looking at changing the HU and speakers in my car as it's my daily hack and I would like to integrate my IPOD into the car.

I've done search and worked out the speaker sizes, etc but still have one unanswered question.

I'll be fitting some Xine components up front I have from my last car. I know the main driver is in the door and the tweeter in the dash. What I need to know is how these are connected.

Is there wiring from the Tweeter to the speaker or does it go direct to the HU loom?

I'll be fitting my crossovers underneath the dash but need to know if I can still use the factory wiring for the tweeters and mids or do I need to run fresh cabling?

I spliced into the ISO loom, ran the feeds from stereo to crossovers, then the mid outputs back into the ISO loom so the crossovers are inline as such, then ran seperate wiring for the tweeters as you have to take the top of the dash off to change tweeters and hide crossovers anyway.
