Road tax went up in budget

From the 1st of April it will cost us £260 to tax the T for 12 mths.

The 182/Trophy is in band J (186-200k/km CO2) so VED for 2011/2012 has gone up a tenner to £245.

Oooops. Thought the T was in the same band as the FW Focus RS which i'm thinking of buying & that's gone up to £260.

If it's the MK1 Focus RS, it's in band k (£260) but so are lots of other performance cars pre March 2006, BMW M3, Porsche 996/Boxster S, Nissan 350Z, Mazda RX8, Honda S2000, Golf R32, Mitsi Evo 8 (imports £200!), etc....yes, I'm browsing potentials too!

Bit of a pain as none of us need the increase, but at less than £1 a month, for the smiles it gives me i can't say i mind that much.
