Am fitting new discs and pads all round. The front looks straighforward but need some help with the rears.

Ive just ordered some new rear discs and a pair of bearings to go with them. Can the ABS rings from the old discs be taken off and used on the new ones?

Nice one mr cue :)

Looking at some of the posts on CS you can 'persuade' the abs ring off the old discs with a hammer and screwdriver.

I've got brembo hc discs going onto the front with some oe spec ferodo pads, got a great deal from York motor factors for all the bits and saved a bundle on standard renault items.

I'd like to change the fluid for something that could handle a couple of track days with higher boiling points, do you have any recommendations for decent fluid that doesnt need regular changes like the 5.1 stuff?

no, about every two years is about right for it - you're thinking of dot 5.1 that needs changing every other month.
