My first attempt at finding a decent tyre fitter/ set up company along the M62 corridor didn't result in any suggestions so how about further afield? Which companies do we all recommend for tyre fitting and for getting the tracking/suspension settings done properly? I don't want my alloys marking and I think the car could do with its allignment setting up properly. Thanks.

Think I've just responded to your first post on this but........ if your after a decent tyre fitter I can recommend one in Halifax, not sure if they'll do wheel alignement though as they specialise in tyres. I know an excellent bodyshop in Emley - just outside of Huddersfield that coul do the alignment stuff no problems.

Speak to RS Tuning in Leeds, they maybe able to sort both things out. For tyres though you may want to shop around. Prices vary by as much as £50 per tyre! This tyre shop in Halifax are the cheapest, fitted. MyTyres apparently do PE2's for £75 but you'll need to find a fitter - possibly RS Tuning???? :idea:

Thanks for the advice Cue and congrats on the extra star. Not too sure if it'll make your car any faster. Whereabouts in Leeds are RS Tuning, might pay them a visit? Going way back on this site I remember someone mentioning a decent tyre fitter in Liverpool. I think it was called Aurok or similar. Where is the bonnet coming from?

why not try a pirelli performance centre, designed to fit tyres to lambos ferraris etc, they use special tools that dont damage wheels and have lower lifts
