Hi!
My Trophy needs new rear discs, now i know they incorporate the bearings so i would need to change them too realistically.
Now i know i should really get original renault bearings(probably skf or something) as i want them to last a good amount of time. And i want to get half decent quality rear discs too.

Do renault do the discs with the bearings already pressed in and the abs rings on? If so rough price?

Yozza appear to be selling renault discs with bearings and bendix pads for £200 delivered which seems a bit steep really, i'm used to paying £30-40 for a pair of discs, plus 20-30 for pads and shoving them on.

How easy are the bearings to press in and out? Would it be easy to buy some mintex discs and pads quite cheap and just fit the renault bearings with a drift of some sort or will they definitely have to be pressed?

Cheers for any help :)

Not worth pressing the old bearing into a new disk, best off just buying new Renault ones, you dont really need performance disks on the rear as they dont do that much braking.
There is some on e-bay at the moment for £160ish, Renault were £202 when i asked, K-Tec are £175, GDI £199.

GSF are the cheapest i've seen - OEM rear disks is what i'd recommend. They've lasted me for 30k when the fronts have given up the ghost after 12k, that's with aftermarket pads on also....

Hi mate, if your interested i have a set genuine renault rear discs with the bearings and the ABS ring already fitted with genuine renault pads for sale. I brought them for my Trophy last month (boxes still sealed) But looking at my brakes the other day they dont really need doing just yet and could do with the money. So if you interested ill do them for £170 delivered (or collect for £165 from north london)
