Well last week was the dreaded mot date. I refitted the cat and new lambda sensor ready for the emissions test, and threw the good o/s/f damper in the boot so my mate could fit it before the mot. The damper that was on was soft and made a horrible knocking nois over any bumps it was ridden over.
The results...... 3 New wiper blades, a pair of new top mounts, and a £60 bill later.....the car now drives as it should, the test drive over the local bumpy moorland roads revealed some pinpoint handling, no knocking suspension and a very happy owner. My passenger, Toby, realnumber1 off cs I think needed an underwear change when we got back. The piss poor pads fitted failing to slow the car after only 2 hard braking points didn't help lol.
Ds2500 s desperately needed methinks lol.
