There seems to be a glut of Trophy's on Autotrader at the moment - has anyone noticed this? 10 in total (thats excluding the black Trophy and the silver one!?) is that the most anyones seen for sale at the one time? Pretty strange time of year for selling too.

They all seem to be average or above average mileage too - where have all the low milers gone!? Probably tucked up in their garages for the winter ;)

I'm also constantly surprised at how many cars seem to be missing the front splitter.

Oh and finally, looking at the pics there seems to be a Trophy running 195's - thats a first for me....

a couple of them aren't registered on here n'all... i may email them.

yeh - i noticed the 195's on one. Wonder why they did that, cirtainly doesn't drive as well with them as i've did it for a week once.

Also, why do people persist on advertising their cars as Trophy's when they are clearly not.. does my head in that. One of the dealer one's is probably just a stock photo - which is even worse as they just can't be arsed taking a picture to promote the car.

in fact wait - that aint a Trophy either - says it has adjustable seat belt height.... dealers should know better.. ffs it's their livelyhood to know about cars. This is what gauls me about Reno dealers - they specialise in Reno's but some don't know what models they sell!!!!!! Sack the lot of 'em.

I asked Autotrader to move the non-Trophys, but nothing happened. Good chance some of these cars would be otherwise part-ex'd soon, with the factory shutdown in August, there'll be a lot of new cars landing about now.

Of course as time marches on there will be fewer low mileage cars, but there's quite a few used as second and third cars etc so a few will crop up.

No point trying to change the tyres, but they probably needed a new set and thought they would save a few quid on another make. Shame.

Two of them are allvehicles trophy's though. I'm glad to see there are a couple more out there with more miles than mine though!

Like Cue said, it's really annoying when you see people advertise there 182's as trophy's. What next a 172 trophy!?

Steve has always had both, artdealer for chit-chat and cardealer (which used to be allvehicles) for business. It was posted at the time, as all username changes are.
