Hi, just removed the old sprung manifold to cat fitting kit. Should the new 'cup' that fits into the front, manifold side, be difficult to get in. Should it be forces in or go in with a little pressure? I dont want to damage the manifold or gaskets my hammering it too much. I got the North West kit, would this make any difference compaired to a Renault kit? Any advice welcomed. Thanks.

Do you mean the fire ring? Mine went in with no drama, just pushed in easily then fitted the exhaust back to it, sounds like the north west kit might be a bad fit, always gone genuine renault on these bits!

100% genuine on a cat>manifold joint kit.

As for the "cups" the old ones should be knocked out and the new ones will knock in with a very light tap.

Again - GENUINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ive just done this job on mine and went with a genuine kit,the old cups needed to be 'tapped' out, then i cleaned the manifold with a round file and 'tapped' the new ones back in.
