Commencing on the 26/8/11 JMS Automotive Limited will cease trading.

Due to changing personal circumstances over recent weeks amongst other reasons, James and I have made the decision to shut the business and pursue other interests.

We are pleased too be able to introduce Michael and Jack under the brand Michael Woodford Motorsport Limited as the new proprietor of the workshop arm of the business, who between them will continue to service the regions demand for reputable RenaultSport specialist.

Michael and Jack have a long running interest in both JMS and the RenaultSport brand, having worked with us on a contractual basis for the past year. They are extremely experienced with both the RenaultSport marque and the technicalities involved in servicing and modifying them due to owning the cars themselves. On that basis it feels only natural for them to continue to provide the specialist service required for the regions RenaultSports. All future would-be JMS inquiries will eventually be handled by Mike and Jack. More detailed information about MWM will be released within the coming week.

Please rest assured that all current JMS orders including outstanding RS2 orders will be resolved as quickly as possible. No customer that has paid for a service or a product will be left empty handed.

I would also like too take this opportunity to apologise for the poor communication over the last few weeks; it has been a busy transitional period for us and therefore servicing the emails/phonecalls has suffered.

For any queries please contact me directly via my personal email address:

tom@jmsautomotive.co.uk

Lastly, many thanks for the years of support and business you as a community of RenaultSport owners have provided us with. It has been incredibly enjoyable, and needless to say that we are not entirely leaving the brand of car we love.

Tom & James

FYI - All remaining orders, etc will be satisfied don't worry.

Whilst the business is indeed busy & profitable, neither Tom & James want to work in a dingy business park in Chertsey for the rest of their lives. Career aspirations and all that ...

I am starting to worry. I've just spoken with James and it seems they only have the workshop for another two days. I've been waiting six weeks for the manifold to be removed from my car and still don't have a booking date.

I haven't driven the car at all for a month now and rarely driven it since having the RS2 fitted in mid June as it's just terrible to drive.

This has been an extremelly bad experience and is still ongoing without a clear end. I've told Tom repeatedly to atleast put my car back to normal and do the refund whenever he can as I'm restless knowing the state of my poor T.
