Thinking of going for a 182/Trophy and was wondering what sort of insurance the younger members were paying.

I'm coming up to 21, 2 years NCB, been driving 3 years.

im 21 just had a quote through priveleg.com....al bels n whistles included


hire care leagal and all for 840

Yeah, thats not bad, I was hopefully expecting around the grand mark.

Exactly... good point.

Also your location can double a quote... I am in London for instance and was paying £1600 with quite a few years no claim :)

tip - different insurers have different 'specialisms' i,e Some will give better quotes to younger driver, some to middle aged etc. I'm not talking about the specialist brokers but the main insurers.

Shop about I'd expect you to get it sub £1000.

Incidently my highest ever quote was £8k!!!!! for a M3 a couple of years back, I eventually got the insurace for £800 through directline, who now are way over my present premium for the Trophy - even with the multi car discount.
