Hi,

Had my trophy just over a month now and loving it! Number 368

This sites great, a real help especially as I have the least amount of mechanical knowledge you can possible imagin...

I recently brought a Pipercross Venom induction kit, after fitting it i felt mixed results in different gears at different revs, some good, some bad.

I initially attached the cold air feed from the Venom to the standard feed that goes to the original air box and wasnt 100% happy with the results.

Any pointers to the best method of fitting this would be greatly appreciated?

Also, after having a look into the standard air feed (which i thourght fed the air straight from under the front wheel) I noticed that the pipe start from a small metal open ended thing which i have no clue about, or what it is???

Apoligies for asking what are probably very obvious questions

Thanks a lot...

Not sure about the pipercross but the standard box has two air feeds, the one that you are concentrating on is the one that would normally be closed off and not used when fitting a different. Intake.
Btw the metal thing on the end is the acoustic valve.

The acoustic valve can be removed as i have done but as long as you keep the sensor plugged in that is screwed to the acoustic valve!
