Help Needed!!

Hi,

I need to run a wire from the battery back into the car for a handsfree Sony kit . Does anyone have any ideas as to where the best place to slot the wire back into the car is?

I'm struggling to find a hole!!! :shock:

can't you just run it through the same space as the wiring loom goes thru for the light in the boot?

Thanks Cue - I've had a look at that but there seems to be absolutely no room to add another wire to it - it's a tight fit!

I was hoping there would be another way?! :?:

k, not looked myself but it must be v v tight for it not to fit another wire thru.

Have a look underneath the glove box, could be a hole there. I remeber fitting a wireing kit for my amp in my Old Clio and thats where i thread my wire though.

Splice it into the feed to the cigarette lighter. That whole assembly lifts out very easily.

Ah good thinking George!!

Slightly stupid question (and having lost my multi-meter) - there are 3 wires going into the lighter? Do you know which one is the positive and which the negative?

If there is a black it should be the negative - the others are for the lighter and the ashtray light - you can do it by elimination or with a light bulb!
