has anyone noticed?

i normally drive with music from the word go, but recently i havent been, and noticed something new.
when i start the car for the first time in the cold weather and pull away theres a beep right before i change gears though 1st 2nd and occassionally 3rd(maybe 2-3500 revs), not a loud one but a beep non the less. i dont think its the car complaining that ' hey im cold, take it easy alrite!!' but i could be wrong
anyone know what this is indicating?

absolutely no idea mate, occasionally drive w/o music and haven't ever heard anything.

The only beep i get is a fairly loud deep beep, but thats when there is a CD error.

Wierd one that mate. When I drive without the music on all I can hear are rattles, squeeks, vibrations and the occasional clunk.
