Hiya guys just wondered if anyone knows how to remove the standard gear knob??

Also what tyre pressures are you guys using for every day rod use? (Exalto's)

I got rid of standard gear knob in three stages:-

1, Screwdriver to flip the silver coloured bit on the top.
2, Hacksaw to cut the rubber outer and then rip it off.
3, Hacksaw again, this time on the white plastic bit holding the gear knob to the stick. I did it in a lot of small pieces until it was done. It took some time and clearing up after but seemed the easiest way if you don't want to keep the gear knob.

i personally prefer 32 -30 in dry conditions, 30-28 for damp/winter or wet conditions.

There's a thread or two on here on how to remove the gear knob - use the search function to locate it. It was either posted by Steve or g40steve iirc.
