Fuel Guage?

Hi guys

Im in a 1.2 clio, so it has the digital fuel guage, and today, something happend that i presumed MAY happen for a while

I put in fuel, the guage goes down, and its messing about for a while and settles lower than where it was before i put 10 litres in for example

Today, I had 3 bars left on the guage (out of 10 bars) and I was happily filling up, £5 in it stopped, and i tried again and i got to £6.50 and it wouldnt let any more in

So im pretty sure, that because my car drinks fuel to a rediculous amount, its no way near empty when it says, and the digital guage is TOTALLY wrong

What can i do about this?

just to add, i put £5 in mine today, trip computer said i had 100miles left in, after i put the £5 in it went up to 110miles?? 10 miles for £5, either the trip computer is papa or BP are ripping us off..

tommy, i'm not perfectly sure - if it's still under warranty i'd get it looked at by a main dealer. if not then give Paul at RS Tuning or his dad at RS murray & Sons a call for a bit of free advice.
