Tuneable? with 112hp per litre as std, I dont think so, it revs to 8.5 now, some turbo em in Elises!
But can do that with anything and bit of waste of nice N/A engine.

Power is fine, it is just too big, too heavy with too many doors, .... if thats a lightweight bodyshell would not like to see the heavy one!

That engine in a Trophy.. would be nice...

Hiya George,

Too right, old buggers like you and me remember when the 3 series was a quite small car....
And a Golf GTI a light one... those were the days!!!

Just fat Germans now and most else going the same way :(

"Only" weighs 1252kg vs 1525kg for a 3 series and 1250kg for a DC5...so the size is what it is (especially compared to my first Honda a MK1 CRX), but the weight isn't the issue compared to whats on offer today.

Very tuneable actually. A Gruppe M induction kit will probably see a solid 10BHP top end gain along with usable torque.
Expect more in the mid-range.
Then there is KPRO, different exhaust manifolds etc etc.
