Need/want a new CF front splitter. K-Tec or Streamline or another. Anyone had any experience with the streamline, does the k-tec one still mist over and dull? Are there any effective ways to sort out that dull finish?

I bought a second hand one that was badly chipped and has some scuffs on it.

It was all rubbed down and then was given a good lacquer.

Spoke to the guy that did mine, He is a painter and panel beater and has been for 35+ years and seen it all.

400 disc on the air sander and then a wet rub with 800 and a good coat of lacquer

Thanks. I was going to attack mine with fine wet and dry, polish with DA and then laquer.

Atl, no idea how to approach that one.

Good spot, though I think once I get it there and back in one piece the costs would almost cover a new one.
