Afternoon all,

Just wanted to properly introduce myself and my little girl.My names Alex and her's is, well for now, 474.

As i'm sure some of you now i bought her from Gareth on saturday morning, Shes in imacculate condition, and will stay like that for the time its in my ownership.Just wanna say cheers to Gareth for making it pretty much pain free sale, bar the price   .

Shes currently sat in the garage, as i am not insured to drive it.It's driving me insane  .I've had a little snippet of what its like with my old man, that first corner i went in to felt like i could have taken it 2 - 3 times faster  .

Anyway here are a few pics of the Trophy and his younger brother, my first car :D .They were a bit of a rush job as it looked like it was gonna hammer it down all day while i was cleaning them.

Regards

Alex

Welcome Rudi,

You'll love the car, I drove a 1.2 for a week once (K-Tec's replacement car) and all I can say is, it's not comparable to the Trophy, obviously I'm not talking about the performance (There's not much in it between the two  ) but it just feels like a completely different car. I took my usual roundabout on the way home at less than half the normal speed and was all over the shop, I'd never driven a 'normal' car before and was shocked. Once you get insured on that thing, you won't be able to stop driving it.

Just take it easy at first and stay alive.

looks like all mine and Amie's hard work cleaning it for FCS is still showing well

good to see some pictures of my old beast and of both of them together... as i've said it's a massive step up in terms of performance - have fun! :D

Congrats on the purchase, i'm sure you'll love it - hope you dont have to wait too long to get insured! ;)

Is it just me or does the Trophy actually seem to sit marginally higher at the back than the 1.2?!

cheers steve,

i know what you mean but the other way round, i took the trophy on a road i use a lot and like i said that first corner just blew me away, such a huge difference.I think your right, my wallets gonna be pretty light after the first week of insuring it, V-power aint cheap.
